I purchased these for my cairn terrier. They are not what I would consider a quality product. The seams are folded inward, so there is an internal edge that makes it difficult to put on and uncomfortable for the dog. He does not walk around in a normal manor.
After the first wearing in the back yard in the snow he came back with a small hole in one of the boots. After the second wearing another boot came back with a hole. Both holes were in the center of the bottom. There was no evidence he chewed on them.
On the third wearing only three boots came back in. That's about six hours in the snow.
I've had male old english sheepdogs romp in the snow with boots and never had this kind of issues with them - if I could only remember the brand. I would not recommend this product
